Two Friends Left Me Because My "Sexuality Didn't Align With Their Religion" (even though I was Christian myself)

My first friend, my so called "day one" left me and my friends because she believed that her religion did not align with our sexuality. I am still not over this, because how could I be? And the preeminent question is, why should I be? My second friend posted a reel with the caption, "I'm so tired of people thinking that homosexuality was never condemmed in the bible." Inside thoughts, my brother, inside thoughts. I confronted him about it and he went on about this complicated debate. He was arguing that homosexuality is not natural because it is not part of the genetic code. Homsexuality was nurture and not nature. I was too heartbroken at the time to trully understand what he was saying because he had also told me that it was a sin. (I didn't expect hearing that from a friend.) Homosexuality being nurture and not nature leads me to question, how did I become? If no one supported me being lesbian besides some of my friends.
